Finally....THE BEACH!We wasted no time and immediately started playing.
I became super skinny in Costa Rica!
We hadn't gone to the grocery store yet so the first night we wandered around until we found a cool pizza place. We are just waiting on the grub!

This is where we stayed. It wasn't 5 star, but it was great! We pretty much ate all of our meals at home. They had some pretty good grocery stores and we stocked up! Every night we would go out for ice-cream though. It is a must. Also we had to go back a few times to stock up on their juice...it was amazing!!!
The pool provided tons of entertainment.

These monkeys were hands down the kiddos favorite part of Costa Rica. They lived in a tree outside the apartment and when we were on the back patio or playing, we got to watch them swing in the trees and eat. We loved our monkeys!

The sunsets every night were amazing!
It wasn't the relaxing vacation I had dreamed about (4 kids!!!) but it was a blast. I'd do it again.

So fun! We keep talking about a Costa Rica trip- in fact just today we were debating if we had time to get a trip in. Looks like so much fun.
