Camping and Surfing at Tybee Island

For our Spring Break we went camping on Tybee Island. It's our closest beach and it is in GA. It was our first family camping trip can you believe it! The campground was kind of a joke...we had water, electricity and even cable. There were also bathrooms and showers and each campsite was right next to each other. But it was still a lot of fun and the kids loved it. There was no place to make a fire so we had to roast our hotdogs and our marshmallows over our gas stove. We had two 3 man tents facing each other, one for the girls and one for the boys.
The beach was a blast. The waves were too small for surfing...believe me Steve tried...but they were perfect for the kids to boogieboard and they did it all day long. The weather was perfect and this was also
Kaia's first trip to the beach. She loved putting her feet in the water and didn't even cry when Mettea came up and splashed her in the face.
GOOD TIMES!
